From homeowners.
“We got four quotes. Pickens was the only crew that actually showed us drone photos of the damage instead of just guessing from the ground. Fair price, clean work, and they even replaced some rotted decking they found during tear-off at no extra charge.”

Questions.
Do you handle emergency repairs?
Yes. If you have an active leak or storm damage, call during business hours and we'll get a tarp on your roof same-day to stop further water damage. Calls after 6pm get a return call at 7am the next morning — we don't do roof work in the dark.
How do you help with insurance claims?
We document all damage with detailed photos and measurements, provide a written scope of work, and meet your insurance adjuster on-site. We don't negotiate your claim — we give your adjuster the clear evidence they need to process it.
How long does a full roof replacement take?
Most residential re-roofs are completed in 1–2 days. Larger or more complex roofs — multiple stories, steep pitch, extensive decking damage — may take 3 days.
How do I know if I need a repair or a full replacement?
It depends on the roof's age, the extent of damage, and the condition of the underlayment (the waterproof barrier between the decking and shingles). We'll give you an honest assessment. If a repair will hold for years, we'll tell you. If replacement makes more sense long-term, we'll explain why.
What roofing materials do you work with?
Architectural asphalt shingles (GAF Timberline HDZ as the default, also Owens Corning and CertainTeed) and standing seam metal. Commercial flat roofs we refer out — we don't pretend to be good at what we're not.
Is it worth getting an inspection for a minor leak?
Yes. Small leaks usually point at something larger underneath — rotted decking (the wood layer under your shingles), failed flashing (the metal seals around chimneys, vents, and valleys), or ice dam damage. Inspections are free.
